A Kitchen-Centered Transformation

In this 100-year-old brownstone, the kitchen was more than just a place to cook—it was the heart of the home, the central gathering space for a busy family of four. Our goal was to design a modern, functional kitchen that seamlessly integrated with the home’s historic architecture, creating a space that felt both timeless and contemporary.

Preserving the original architectural details was essential to the design approach. The home’s rich woodwork, intricate moldings, and tall ceilings set the stage for a kitchen that blends classic charm with modern luxury. A sophisticated mix of custom cabinetry, high-end appliances, and carefully curated materials brought warmth and elegance to the space, while an intuitive layout and smart storage solutions ensured that the kitchen could keep up with the demands of daily life.

Beyond the kitchen, we introduced subtle but impactful upgrades to the living area, enhancing the space while respecting its original character. The result is breathtaking—a harmonious blend of historic beauty and modern comfort, where traditional details meet contemporary design in an effortlessly elegant way. This project is a testament to how a thoughtful renovation can breathe new life into a historic home, making it both functional for today and timeless for years to come.
